Clarissa Azcueta-Cox joins PreferredOne as
Vice President of Clinical Operations and Care Transformation

Golden Valley, Minn. February 14, 2019 - PreferredOne welcomes Clarissa Azcueta-Cox as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Care Transformation. Clarissa will lead PreferredOne’s efforts around reducing total cost of care, care and coverage integration and enhanced reporting and quality initiatives.

“Clarissa brings 25 years of payer and provider leadership to PreferredOne” said Stacy Mays, Chief Operating Officer at PreferredOne. “Her expertise in care efficiency, cost, quality and integration dovetails perfectly with PreferredOne’s strategic growth plans.”

Most recently Clarissa served as Vice President of Population Health at Network Health Plan in Wisconsin where she oversaw clinical operations for the company. Before that, she was Vice President of Clinical Integration at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s, where she developed system processes and standards for the organization’s ACO efforts.

Clarissa earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Alverno College and her MBA at Marquette University, both in Milwaukee.
