The mission of the Quality Management (QM) Program is to identify and act on opportunities that improve the quality, safety, value of care, and service provided to PreferredOne members both independently and/or collaboratively with contracted practitioners and community efforts.

Hospital
Helps consumers make smarter health care choices by showing them what steps hospitals are taking to reduce preventable medical mistakes.
Find a health care orginization that meets the Join Commission's patient safety and quality standards.
Area hospitals are required to report to the Minnesota Department of Health when any of 20+ identified preventable adverse event occur. The first report was released to the public in January 2005.
A U.S. Department of Health & Human Services tool to provide information on how well hospitals in your area care for adult patients with certain medical conditions. This information compares the quality of care hospitals provide and was created through the efforts of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and organizations that represent hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, other Federal agencies and the public.
Offers quality information about Minnesota hospitals, and is the product of a join partnership among the Minnesota Hospital Association, Stratis Health, and more than 100 hospitals around the state.
